Walnut Hills Campground & RV Park

We’ve had the pleasure of staying at Walnut Hills as monthly guests for the last several months while we searched for property in the area. Julie was so welcoming and helpful. She is kind, easy to work with, understanding and treated us like family. We had an amazing site, up on the hill with a beautiful view of the lake. The sites are spacious, level. My husband enjoyed the disc golf course in the days before the weather got too cold. We were super grateful for the propane service, pick up and delivered to the site as needed. Thanks Zeb! While we were there in off season we did manage to catch Halloween celebrations and it was fantastic! It’s clear there’s a real effort to enjoy holidays and make the most of every weekend in the camping season. The park is conveniently located off the highway and we never heard traffic, always felt like we were in the woods which was really nice. We also had a chance to stay at the hilltop cabin when we had family visiting from out of town and it was perfect to keep us all together. We will definitely be back when we need a weekend “away”! Highly recommend for families - lots of activities for the kids, catch and release fishing, game room. Thanks to Julie and her whole team!

I tent camped here this past weekend and had a lovely experience. It was a quiet campground with very friendly staff. The bathhouse was clean, kept, and very nice. My dog enjoyed the dog park!

Have stayed here a few times in the past. Had business locally and so few places to choose from in this high tourist area. Being winter really no problem getting a space. They fixed me up nicely with a pull in space at the pond where ducks and geese were my cats entertainment. Easy in and out to campground on paved road. Receptions was pleasant and quick. Very quiet nights. Good sleeping here.

I like to thank Julie and rest of the staff at walnut hills campground for an excellent 1 year stay , the service was friendly, very fast and without any issues. The layout at walnut hills is awesome, the views are incredible. For me it was my first year of rving full time and the experience was fantastic. I highly recommand this campground. Thank you again for making my dream come true !

Pullled in as we were traveling south. Perfect spot. Great pull through that we we could stay hitched up. Receptionist Julie was so sweet. We tried any of the facilities. So can’t count on that. But appeared to be a well kept up campground. This was our 3rd stay and expect to use next year too
