Very nice Campground, clean, quiet, stayed 3 nights. RV parking spots are paved, no electric, sewer, or dump station. There is vault toilets. Dogs must be leashed & picked up after. Camp sites have a picnic table & fire pits, with grills. Many sites have lake views, access is fairly easy. There is a trail around the lake, about 1 mile, it's fairly easy to walk. Some people rode bikes. The lake is very popular for fishing, I don't fish, just enjoyed walking the trail, the lake is beautiful. There is a day use area, as well as a small beach for kids to swim, but no playground. Reservations are advised for campsites, some sites are first come first serve. Camp hosts are great! Enjoyed the stay, will definitely camp there again 🙂👍

Beautiful part of the Ochoco National Forest. Walton Lake is small but has a walking trail all around the perimeter. In late summer the water is a nice temperature but a fair amount of algae. Many people were paddle boarding and kayaking.

This little campground and lake is very charming! The camp-host took grape pride in the facilities, clean the bathroom twice a day and for being vaulted toilets, you would not know it!!

You might have to hike up and down to your parked vehicle 50-100ft if camping on the north side, so prepare for that. 8$ per wood single wood bundle (which they don't manage, some larger company does for them), I'd hate to see what its going to cost in few more years from now... otherwise a nice remote spot with a mini lake. It's nice they have a trail that goes around the lake, however you do pass by other campsites and many of them are close together like most places.
