Actually pretty nice, considering they’re free campsites! Luckily, those there before us, cleaned up after themselves. Forest Service have done a great job, keeping up the gravel pads, fire pits, trails, signage, etc. There was not a public bathroom or shower house, but they did provide a community dumpster, located at the exit. If you’re willing to travel a little ways, and desperately need a shower, you can travel a little further down Wash Creek, til you get to N Mills River Campground, and there they have a bathroom and shower house, which they charge $5 a shower to those who aren’t paying customers of their campground - there’s also tons of fishing spots, trailheads and info/resources/maps located here, as well.
