For folks across Mississippi seeking a truly serene and affordable escape into nature, look no further than Water Valley Landing. If you're like many Mississippians who value a peaceful environment and top-notch facilities, Water Valley Landing is designed with you in mind. It's been praised by recent visitors for its well-maintained grounds, the friendliness of its camp hosts, and its incredible value. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway in your RV, looking for a quiet spot to fish, or simply need a break from city life, this campground provides the perfect backdrop. The natural beauty of Enid Lake combined with the thoughtful amenities ensures a comfortable and memorable stay. Let's delve deeper into what makes Water Valley Landing an ideal spot for your next Mississippi adventure.

Location and Accessibility

Water Valley Landing is strategically located on the picturesque Enid Lake, providing easy access to its beautiful waters and surrounding natural areas. You'll find this tranquil retreat at Watervalley Boat Landing Rd, Water Valley, MS 38965, USA. Getting to the campground is straightforward, especially for those coming from the interstate.

For the smoothest journey, especially if you're pulling a larger RV, it's highly recommended to take the first turn for Highway 53 directly from the interstate. This route will lead you on a straight shot directly to the campground, avoiding any unnecessary detours. A helpful tip from past visitors suggests that if your GPS tries to direct you through a turn at a Baptist church, it's best to use that parking lot to turn around and find the correct route. This avoids winding through a rundown neighborhood with tiny, potentially challenging roads that aren't ideal for larger vehicles. By following the suggested route via Highway 53, you'll find the drive to Water Valley Landing to be simple and stress-free, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The campground's location also means you're just about 10 minutes away from the town of Water Valley, where you can find local diners and other essential services.

Hidden Gem. I have to share this place. Water Valley Landing on Enid Lake. It’s a COE Campground can be booked on recreation.gov. Someone did a post last week about it and I had never heard of the place. Google searched everything I could think of and could Find barely any information on it. I NEVER go to any place unless I can see a picture from a real person not a website and I am so thankful for the lady who shared this place last week because if it wasn’t for her I would not be here today. This place is amazing, peaceful and quiet. Our site is site 16 because I know that question will come. The park is super clean, well maintained and has FULL HOOKUPS for $20 a night. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect spot. Nice breeze coming off the lake. I hope someone will see this and come out and enjoy this place when you can.

Excellent campground run by super camp hosts. Park has 23 active sites and newer bathhouse. Sites are all large, concrete and FHU ( rare for a COE park)! Coming from the interstate take the first turn for Hwy 53. Its a straight shot to the campground. If the GPS takes you to the turn at the Baptist church, use the parking lot to go back, otherwise you will wind through a rundown neighborhood with tiny roads. 2 bars ATT. Couple of good diners in town 10 minutes away.

Drug deals and sketchy people hanging around without a campsite. Had to leave after my wife saw a sketchy shirtless man scope through the campground with a big knife then leave. A car parks at pavilion every day all day and guy never leaves his car...not even to eat or go to bathroom. Super skinny (meth?). Dangerous.
