It's quiet so long as nobody drives along the highway which is ~20 feet from your front door, but since it's a main highway so good luck with that. Your expansive views of the bay last until they get cropped by motorhome/RV guests parked between your balcony and the waterfront. That peace and quiet the country boasts about gets drowned out by the cacophony of car doors opening and shutting all day and people walking along the front porch to all the rooms as the parking is also by your front door same as the highway. For being "away from it all" it felt like I never left my city that whole weekend

This is a comfortable, clean, and homely place with beautiful views to enjoy. We sat on the porch watching seals close to the shore, and as the evening set in the mists appeared over the water. The bed was spacious and comfortable, and I enjoyed a good night's sleep. The road quietens down as the evening wears on. There were RVs parked at the back, but their positioning means you retain privacy on the porch - I rarely saw anyone from the RVs even though they were all occupied. The room has a fridge, microwave, kitchen roll, and hairdryer, as well as individual toiletries and bars of soap. The ladies I met working there were nice, friendly people. Good WiFi. I liked the door code system, if you stay there you'll know why. Up the road just a few minutes along is a big supermarket so we stocked up there for breakfast and picnic lunches. The Staircase trail wasn't far away at all. I really enjoyed my stay here.

So we stayed here for 2 nights. We stayed in cabin 43 next to the creek. The room was awesome. The cabin itself was great. Gas stoves are great. The water heater is a bit tiny, so watch the legth of your shower. Also the bedroom faces the road. So yes, there is road noise , but it falls off after 9 p.m. I also travle with a little fan so that was enough cover noise. Now the property and managment are very very accomidating. I needed some things while I was there and she was on it. We seen some sea otters and what I think were harbor seals right from the beach!

Super friendly staff. Relaxed big cozy rooms on the water. I stayed here for work during the winter months and they accepted the state per diem rate. I highly recommend it.

We picked this place at random. What a treasure! Rooms/cabins are very well put together and nicely appointed. Decks looking out onto the ocean. Comfy beds and pillows (you'd be surprised how rare that's been on this trip!) there is a little bit of road noise as they sit right off of highway 101 but that's okay. We will definitely be back.
