We had a very nice stay at the Waterloo KOA. Pretty grounds, and a nice beach with a little lake to swim in. Great store with everything you could want. They do not have a pool since the water resort is next door. Was not very busy so it was nice and quiet at night. The workers seemed helpful and friendly. Overall it was a nice place to stop through.

I just completed a 27 day stay there yesterday, 6/27/25, my entire stay was fantastic. The staff is incredibly helpful. The location is beautiful. The amenities are wonderful. There is plenty of space for camping, as well as a great variety of different spot sizes to accommodate many different rigs. My stay was great! I will be back!

The spaces were nicely spread out and the camp store was well stocked. They have a shuttle to the water park next door. The only real bad thing was the lake. It is so shallow you cannot really swim, they need to dredge an area that is deeper so you can actually get underwater without lying down.

I love the location of this Campground and the fact that they have a free shuttle to the water park. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathrooms. We stayed for 3 nights and not once were the counters wiped off or the floors mopped. Both the men's and women's restrooms were disgusting all 3 days. The women's shower drains were clogged with hair. I have camped at many state parks and the bathrooms might be outdated, but people actually keep them as clean as possible. For this being a koa, I was shocked.
