Nice overall forested hike if that’s what you’re looking for. There weren’t many overlooks with views of the landscape (at least on my trail route) also this trail camp is right by a road so diminishes a bit of that secluded feeling if that’s what you seek.
All the paths lead you to an inviting beautiful scenery! Waterman Gap has a parking area to rest and look at the views. It possesses many trees and ⛰! Oh, and be careful with the ticks and mountain lions if you ever encounter one on your way. 😂👍 What could be improved on are the bathrooms among other small things, other than that it's a great experience!
Stayed overnight on our Skyline to the Sea hike. Nice camp and clean restroom.
I camped in site 1 which I think is the most private one. It's past the pottable water faucet. It's quiet and a peaceful camping experience. No benches but their are makeshift sittable areas with tree trunks which make up for it. Lot of mosquitoes in July .
Another beautiful trail camp on the Skyline to the Sea Trail.
