Beautiful place right on the river with short distance to the lake and mountains all around. About an hour drive to the Crater lake National Park, and Lava Beds National Monument. Everyone that works here is nice and helpful, the place is clean , bathrooms are meticulous, and the laundry room is clean. The place has a little island and boat ramp, There are plenty of birds and fish in the river. Spots are level little tight but you can meet the neighbors that we find out keep coming back here over and over. There is a good Verizon and T mobile connection. The campground is close to the road and the train tracks.... You can hear some road noise but it's not bad at all. We loved camping here!
This place is a hidden gem. It is right on the Williamson River with its own dock and boat launch. Think world class fly fishing. It is very near upper Klamath Lake. Think world class bird watching. The laundry and bathroom/showers are updated and immaculate. We will be back when we can spend more time.
We were happy to find Waterwheel RV Park on a last-minute trip to Crater Lake National Park. Good location for fuel and recreating in your RV. Fishing right outside of your door. Great WiFi capabilities. Friendly staff and facilities they have are well maintained. Spots are a bit close together, but the value of the reservation was great.
Agree with other reviews, this is a hidden gem. Quiet, small and right on the river. Bathrooms/ Laundry are very clean. A bonus.. a wonderful dog area that’s pretty good in size and not surrounded by chain link!
Beautiful place with amazing sites by the river. We had a great time here! Dogs get their private island to play on. Tracy was exceptionally helpful. Would stay here again.
