Waubeeka Family Campground

We absolutely love it at Waubeeka! The kids love going there, we made a summer home away from home. The staff is amazing and friendly. They have so many activities every single weekend. The kids love going to the dj every Saturday night. If we could we would be there all year long. We made so many friends there this season. 😍🥰

Amazing campground. This is normally a weekend family park that has a lot of seasonal familys that come every weekend and it makes you feel like a kid at sleep away camp. The staff are the nicest people. We stayed one night during the week on our way and they were so excited to have a family during the week they made it extra special for my kids. We will definitely be back, I have nothing bad to say about this place :)

Jim and the entire Waubeeka Event Staff and Lodging Team are awesome! From a beautifully pristine cottage. To on site excellent wifi. Every need was exceeded! Can't wait to visit next year!

I had the absolute pleasure of not just performing at Waubeeka Family Campground, but also staying for the weekend. From the 1st moment at the front gate I was greeted I by an amazing, helpful and inviting staff member. I stopped at the office and met Jim and his awesome team of friendly professionals. Then the showed me to my cottage and Jim said, your never gonna want to leave...He was right! I had a beautiful suite like cottage with all amenities including a covered porch, small side yard with BBQ and firepit... What sets this location apart from all the 4 star Hotels and green rooms that I've stayed in was simply THE PEOPLE. At every turn they found ways to enhance our stay and make everything an absolute blissful experience... I wish all of my clients were like this staff of professionals...

We have stayed here in the past and enjoyed it but this time they had a boil water mandate based on contamination with coliform in the water throughout the campground and they DID NOT TELL US!!!! We found out by accident when we went to the store (since they had not given us a map when we checked in) which was closed at 2 pm on Sunday. There was a report in small print posted on the closed door - if the door had been open we would have missed it. The contamination occurred a few days before we came and I had texts enabled but they did not notify us - then we could have stocked up on bottled water. No signs on the shower / bathrooms but the report said be careful showering not to get water on your mouth. When we asked if the store was closed due to the contamination the woman was very snippy. She said no they did not have the staff to keep it open all the time. I guess they are over extended because the bathrooms were not maintained - no toilet paper, not clean and trash not emptied. We come every summer because we have friends who have a summer house on Copake Lake - next year we will look for another place to stay.
