This park would be a 4 or 5, but mosquitoes were unbearable. We had to wear sweatshirts, hoods up, masks, glasses to keep them off us to walk the dogs. We couldn’t sit outside. A few folks managed to due it, but I’m guessing the bathed in Off/deet first. Spots weren’t 100% level, but they were fine. Bathrooms were clean and they mostly kept the mosquitoes out of them. Some sites have 50 amp, most have 30 amp. There’s a playground and there’s shade as it is quite wooded. Verizon cell works well. Camp host was very nice and helpful. Located convenient to town.
It's a pretty, quiet campground. They don't have water hookups. Potable water is available. Electricity is available on each campsite. The mosquitoes are plentiful. I believe it's because of the woods, undergrowth, and nearby river. Screen tents are very helpful.
It's a nice little park. There's usually very few campers there. This was Labor Day weekend so there were more. But they've got a nice trail in the woods that it's nice to walk our dog in.I think they have some disk golf out there. But that's not place just outside of town. But feels like the woods
Great campground with clean showers and restrooms. Sites are pretty big and remote for the most part. Some sites are set up backwards had to pull into a back in site for my door to face the correct way
Lovely Park with a surprising amount of things to do. Disk golf, cook outs, camping, swimming, nature walks, fishing, multiple park play sets and more.
Great campground! All the sites are nice, cheap, bathrooms and showers are very clean and hosts very friendly! Disc golf course is super nice and the city pool is within walking distance. My only minor suggestion would be to put a bathroom, even pit toilets, on the other end of the loop. We were in site 16, TWD the middle, and the bathroom was quite a walk at nite and for the littles. Also, if the hosts had a small ice chest to sell ice, we'd have certainly bought! But overall, we were very pleased and would def come back!
