The experience here is often described with a sense of calm—a place where the "beautiful blue skies" meet the "vibrant red soil" of Oklahoma, and the only sounds are the water gently lapping and the occasional breeze carrying the scent of wisteria. This sense of peace, combined with the convenience of having both a marina and a full-service campground, makes it a premier choice for those looking to fish, boat, or simply recharge. The dedication of the private owners is frequently recognized, adding a layer of personal service and care that enhances the overall stay.
Waurika Lake Marina and Campgrounds caters specifically to the modern traveler, offering full hookup RV sites and cozy cabins, serving as a reliable and cherished retreat in Southern Oklahoma.

It was a quiet spring day. Beautiful blue skies, wisps of golden grasses waving in the breeze, and occasionally new green growth popping out as if to greet me. The water gently lapped against the vibrant red soil. Random sense of wisteria and fresh mowed grass were on the breeze. The warm sun comforted me as I wondered off while enjoying the picturesque view. my heart filled with serenity and peace.
We go here as often as we can and love it because it's not as busy as other places it's peaceful the owners are awesome
Waurika Lake and campground is a great place to go if you want to fish in the largest lake around this area, and camp with the joys of fewer fellow campers on the grounds to let you have your camping area virtually all to your self so you can enjoy your camping experience without a crowd. Waurika’s grounds are well kept and clean, and each camping space comes equipped with the usual amenities as well as paved roads leading all the way to your camp space for those of us who don’t like dirt roads to drive and walk on. Waurika lake would be my choice to come back to.
Spent the weekend with family at the Waurika Lake Marina in Oklahoma and it was really nice. Stayed in a cabin and the amenities were really really great. Kitchen items, very clean, highly recommend to make reservations if you want to come to this lake.
Park is brimming with wildlife! Everywhere you look there are birds, deer, even some fish you can see by the dam. Great campsites and lots of them, and really cool staff in the main office. They were very helpful and informative! I can't wait to go back.
