Waynesboro North 340 Campground

Fantastic campground. Great clean pool, super clean bath houses. Fun events and also quiet setting if you want that too!

We have stayed at this campground a fair amount over the past couple years due to its proximity to where we live. We have always loved the experience, the staff is awesome, and overall just love the place!! They accommodate our 35ft 5th wheel with no problem at all.

We were able to secure a tent reservation here when all other state and national park campgrounds were full. Friendly, helpful staff. Firewood and ice available as well as a small camp store. Both restrooms were kept very clean. Trick or treating and train car rides for the kids. A rock cover band at night for the adults. I was a little concerned about staying at a family campground (I don't like big trailer park KOAs) but I'd stay here again!

Staff was excellent. Owner not so much. My Rv sustained damage there. Owner not only ignored me but put me in the worst site there. She’s only interested in her revenue not the people. I’ve never been treated like that. The owner not the staff.

We were looking for a campground at the end of Skyline Drive to stay 1 night and this place was perfect. It's definitely off the beaten path but very close to the southern entrance/exit for Skyline Drive. Other than a corner that had a bunch of full-timers, the place was pretty empty. Very quiet, comfortable and well-maintained sites. The pool and rest rooms were very clean. There's a large open field along the entrance road, so there's plenty of room to walk your dog and for kids. My only complaint and the 4 stars is because there was no WiFi. Apparently the WiFi has been out for some time and they're waiting for the fiber optic to be run by the utility.
