Waypoint Ventura Vintage Trailer Hotel & Campground

We recently hosted my daughter's wedding at Waypoint--and memorable doesn't even begin to describe it. It was so unique in every way and we have the Waypoint staff to thank for so much. Geneva led the way with the best support team we could ask for with Colin, Tallulah and Yvonne. They treated every detail as if planning their own weddings. Guests all stayed in the trailers and absolutely loved the experience. The trailers are comfortable and so well-designed and the property is just so much fun--bikes to borrow to ride to the beach, fire pits with s'mores, swings and outdoor spaces for lounging adjacent to the trailers. We just couldn't have asked for a more invested and caring staff. They're the absolute best.

We had to evacuate a fire and Geneva at the front desk was so helpful on the phone as we were driving to Ventura and we needed a pet-friendly hotel. I was skeptical at first about "trailers turned into hotel rooms" but this place is fantastic and really impressed me. It's right across from the beach, quiet, gated - amazing customer service and great touches like very nice bathing products in the shower, they gave doggie bags and doggie treats with the room. Eye masks and earplugs for each person. Comfortable and very clean. Such a cute place I would absoultely recommend it to people. The environment is very soothing with cafe lights and a fire pit - and hot cocoa and hot cider in the evening for guests. Picnic tables and just a great property. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the waypoint for 3 weeks when we had just relocated to ventura. It was absolutely lovely to stay there. We really appreciated all of the great service and smiles from Aimee in the evening and Lauren, Yvonne, and Geneva and Talula in the morning and Colin was so helpful when we couldn't figure out how to open the windows in our amazing trailers that we enjoyed. Our favorites were root beer float, heads or tails and pink panther 😜

we stayed one night in 32 - copperhead. i LOVED our experience here. the venue is so dreamy, and the campfire was so comforting in the evening chill. s’mores ingredients were provided at check-in to bbq the marshmallow in the campfire. our cabin was good for four, one queen sized sofa bed and a comfortable queen sized bed. toiletries are from malin + goetz and quite luxurious. thoughtful touche included a bluetooth speaker. no breakfast but the brewed coffee at the reception was light and flavourful. my kid had a fun time borrowing board games at the reception. definitely a wonderful time here and it’s so calming and peaceful away from the main traffic (tho trains do pass by and vibrated the cabin but not often enough to be an annoyance). highly recommend spending a night or two here. ventura is such a pretty area.

Had a lovely stay. Really enjoyed all of the activities and food that they provide - really makes you feel like you're on Vacation! One minor complaint, the shower room had a small amount of mould and smelled a bit damp. The addition of a vent/fan would be a simple fix.
