The new camp hosts (August 2024) are excellent. Hopefully they stick around for a while. Only giving a 4-star because the lake lacks a beach and gets particularly overcrowded in the summer.

I'm not sure why toilet paper wasn't supply. When we have gone to Provincial parks for camping. They supply toilet paper. I'm glad we brought some. It is a nice place. The road was very rough condition. This one white feather raven was at our camp very morning .

It's a lake I used to go to when I was a little boy in the early 1990's only way up to it was the washout from spring run off its beautiful and I love it very much.

I love this site, it's a beautiful location and the hosts are very nice and accommodating and look out for you. But if you're looking for a chill camping experience, this isn't it. Gangster rap at full volume, loud bass through the night, drunk screaming and shouting all day and night, loud motorboats demolishing the peace of the lake at all hours. To some, this is a place to appreciate nature and enjoy swimming or kayaking or sitting around the fire and appreciating the beautiful location. But to most, this is a party spot, and they don't care about anyone else's enjoyment. The people that regular this place are really, REALLY trashy, and I wish the hosts would keep things in check better..
