Webber Lake Campground Introduce

Webber Lake Campground, located in Sierraville, CA 96126, and reachable at (530) 587-2267 or +1 530-587-2267, provides a scenic lakeside camping experience within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category. Based on user reviews, it offers a relaxing and beautiful environment, particularly during the early summer and late fall.

One reviewer, a local resident of Donner Lake, expressed their enjoyment of spending several nights at Webber Lake Campground in their Airstream, highlighting the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful shoreline. This indicates that the campground is suitable for RV camping, including Airstreams, and offers picturesque lakeside views.

However, another reviewer mentioned an issue regarding misinformation about fire restrictions. They were told they couldn't use a pellet cooker due to a high fire ban, but found that the official fire ban FAQ stated otherwise. This resulted in them being unable to cook meals they had brought. It is advised to double check current fire restrictions, and to obtain information from official sources.

In summary, Webber Lake Campground offers a potentially very enjoyable camping experience, particularly for those seeking a relaxing lakeside retreat. Campers should be aware of and confirm current fire restrictions prior to their stay.

We were told that you couldn't use a pellet cooker because of the high fire ban. If you go on the fire ban FAQ it clearly states that you can use them. We weren't able to cook any of our meals we brought to cook due to miss information.

Great clean campground and the lake is absolutely gorgeous. Only negative thing is that we were there during mosquito season. Will go again in the fall

Great location, very pretty surroundings. Its tucked away off the highway. The campsites are great, and so is the lake! The lake is shallow, we walked aways out and took our paddle board all over. I would suggest water shoes, as the bottom is sludge. Lots of frogs near the bank, and we even saw a water snake! Some of the campsites have access to a little river that flows to the lake, there is a small dam before going in the lake. Weather was great, even with the mid day mountain thunder and rain storm. Be prepared for heat and rain in the summer months, also bring bug spray. We will be booking again, it is an AWESOME camping location.
