This would be a 5 star review, had it not been for the dumping stations. You have 2 tanks. How easy would it be to put in another driveway? It took us 45 minutes to get out of the park. This shouldn't happen, given that everyone who stays at your park has to dump since you do not have a full service hookup lot. Also, the garbage not getting emptied all weekend was a little annoying. Other than that, you guys have a great spot, fun activities for the kids, and your employees are all very nice and courteous.
The owner Mark is a great host and you can really tell he cares and loves the place. His employees made the stay that much more pleasant and were all friendly and fun. Went camping with a group (3 campers/families in total) and got to set up right across from the pond. Our kids had a blast and we all enjoyed the capture the flag game (even though I fell because I have no businesses running and my legs reminded me of that). Can't wait to plan another trip there.
I chose this as a short 20 minute drive to a conference in Mt. Pleasant and am so glad I did. This KOA has new owners and they are doing a phenomenal job of getting everything up to date and worthy of the highest review. The cabin was spacious and uncluttered, very clean with no musty smell like some I've been in. The site was wonderfully appointed. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay pleasant, offering things I didn't even ask for, like a camp chair to sit at the fire because I forgot mine. The other campers were respectfully civil and I had no trouble sleeping. It was much better than a hotel room, but of course that's personal preference. Thank you so much for a great visit. I'll be coming back with my husband because there are so many parks and recreational spots to visit in that area. I do hope these owners experience great success. Go visit them and enjoy their hospitality. I think you'll be happy.
We found this KOA so we could stay close to a tournament for my son. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! The new owner just took over a month ago, and had brought on a couple new staff members. We stayed for 3 nights and we can’t wait to come back! Every single staff person is incredibly friendly, the owner is very hands on and extremely nice, and sincerely wants to make people happy. The pond was super cute (and they have it treated), my kids loved swimming in there. There’s a playground and nature trail, and it seems like there’s a lot of future plans being made. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!!! We will definitely be back!!!!!
Mark and his staff are awesome! The campground is clean, restrooms and showers immaculate. A hidden gem for sure. Mark, Jeff and the rest of the crew are friendly, helpful and definitely want to show guests a great time. We will definitely be back.
