We camped here in our travel trailer and love it here. The campsites are large and roomy and the park is very well maintained. The area is beautiful with the towns of Alexandria Bay and Clayton nearby with lots of shops and restaurants. We took Uncle Sam's Boat tour of the 1000 Islands which was informative and interesting, saw the area from atop the 1000 Islands Tower, crossed the border into Ontario for some hiking and took the Cape Vincent ferry to Wolfe Island (make sure you stop at the Wolfe Island Bakery!), and then the FREE ferry to Kingston, a quaint and lovely town in Ontario.

Great place for families and kids. There honestly is something for everyone here. I hope to go back in the summer to enjoy the beach area as that was closed due to being out of season. Park worker was very generous and allowed us to look in a cabin while she cleaned. We stayed at a site on Huron loop that had electric hook up and was very happy with how large our site was.

Beautiful park. Lots to do. Grounds well maintained. Friendly employees. Needed: baby swing at playground locations & shade. Hose hook up on beam at the A dump station. Bathrooms not always cleaned the same way or the best, at time good at times disgusting as they just wet it down with no sweeping prior.

We love the outer loop hike and the nature center. Phenomenal views in the summer and the fall. It's a staple of our 1,000 islands visits. Highly recommend for the outdoor enthusiast or view seeker.
