If you are looking for a great location that is walking distance from everywhere and aren’t at your camp much this is it. If you are looking for somewhere to park for a long term stay and want a little space then I would probably stay elsewhere. My husband and I stayed one night and spent the day walking around and exploring Tombstone. We were only at our camp for the night. Everyone is packed tightly together and there was no room for us to set up camp which didn’t bother us since we weren’t at camp much. The lady at the office was a little grouchy when I checked in. They say they are pet friendly but there wasn’t really anywhere to walk them except down the street. It was nice being close to the action but if we were to stay longer I probably would have found a nicer place.
We brought our 5th wheel; the hosts were beyond friendly and helpful. It is a very short walk to Historic downtown Tombstone and all that it is. We were very impressed overall with the facilities, hosts, location and in general. Thank you for a wonderful stay on our journey.
RV campground right in the heart of Tombstone. Easy access to all activities and sight seeing. Very clean. Very nice managers. Water, electric and sewer hookup on site.
BEWARE! This is not a family friendly RV Park and you will be treated poorly by the owners/managers and permanent residents of the RV park. While the locations is great, the negatives of this place out way the location as their are several other RV parks with locations near the downtown area. The RV spots are so packed tightly that our slideout was literally 6 inches from our neighbors slideout. It is a run down facility with little to no upside and is 100% not kid friendly. It is also not pet friendly, let that be a warning. Their policy is that even if you are sitting outside in your RV your dogs leash must be in your hand and not tied to your RV even if your sitting next you dog. Any violation of the rules even minor will result in a visit from the male owner/manager who is verbally abusive and aggressive. He was so aggressive that I had to warn him that I would call the police if he continued to threaten me and come toward me aggressively all because my 4 year old son accidently left the RV door open and my completely non-aggressive dog got out and was roaming a few spots down while I was away for 10 minutes doing laundry. I am a single father doing my best and while I understand the owner approaching me, it didn't require fists clenched and being verbally abusive. I rarely post reviews but I think it is important to warn families and those with pets that the owners are not friendly to having either on the property. In the end, there are so many other RV parks in Tombstone, AZ that the location isn't worth putting up with the owners and permanent residents there that treat visitors so poorly.
The office had a closed sign up. The hours are from 9-2. We got there at 3:30. The receptionist saw me walk up to the door, she opened it, asked what I needed. I told we wanted to rent a site. She asked us to come in and she took care of us.
