Excellent expansive campsite, great for groups and multiple tents going up. Clean campsite and exceptionally clean porta johns. (can't believe I'm highlighting that as a feature, but worth a mention that several in the group commented on the cleanliness of them). Very foggy and wet at night. Takes this into consideration when preparing camp for the night and tent placement.
This is a great getaway that is close to town. For sure! We were able to easily get in. And there was enough parking for our family and enough room for tents.
Great open area for a group.
The campsite works for groups, like Boy Scouts. It has a water pump, fire pit, and a few picnic tables. The tent areas are relatively flat for a good pitch. The outhouses are on the gross side. The lack of food storage lockers means the foxes and racoons are a bit too familiar with the site, though. I wish they'd add food storage bins to the park sites.
Great location for a nice size of people camp ping all at once without others around. There is a lot of shade, great bbq, and a nice big fire pit
