Customer Reviews
Great place for river side camping. If you raft or kayak the Kennebec River, this place is great to take out of the river right at your campsite.
Extremely happy with our experience at West Forks Family Campground. The property is tucked away and secluded but yet conveniently located near town and right on the Kennebec River! We used this location as our home base while in the area for whitewater rafting and it was simply perfect, were able to raft straight to our campsite. The facilities were extremely clean and the property itself was like a home away from home for us. Thanks for having us Noah! We’re counting down the days until we get stay at your little slice of heaven again next season!
Owner was cool the entire stay, easy check in and check out process, right on the river for fishing, swimming and rafting, very nice and clean campground, my fiancé hates using porta potties but had no problem with theirs as they keep it extremely clean. The site was large and well maintained, and the ground was just soft enough to make staking our tents down a breeze. Will definitely be staying here again in the future
Our sites were comfortable and clean. The out houses were remarkably clean. The location right by the river was convenient and scenic. Would recommend and will return!
Ok place to camp. Goat paths to sites need to be smoothed out...camper bottomed out when trying to pull in. Other than a convenient spot to camp it basically just a wooded area with goat paths for roads. For what they charge it really isn't worth it as there are no amenities whatsoever but being on the river is handy.
