Many visitors highlight the beauty of Houghton Lake and the convenience of our location as key reasons for choosing us. One guest shared, "We loved it because they were mostly closed and the owner let us in anyway (end of October). Water was off (but we had enough) and 50 amp was available." Another visitor noted, "The center portion has two rows for transients (I guess, we were the only ones), grass pads. A little reflective tape on the park sign would help or an expanded Google map on your cell phone 😉

The park has the basics for a decent price. No fancy amenities but thats ok. Everyone is very nice there. The bathrooms are old but very clean. Quite a few long term campers but also quite a few spots for daily summer campers. Right across the street from a boat launch which is helpful if you're planning to do any boating.

We love coming here. It's family oriented. We normally come every summer, but did not make it this year. But we will definitely be coming again next year. We stay in the cabins. They are cute and comfortable. Any questions we had were answered. Fire wood was available and it's a cute trail to walk behind it.
