I almost want to give this place a bad review, because I want to keep this place all to myself... but I just can't. We've been camping at West Lake since before they had electric hook ups!! We've seen this campground go through a lot of changes, but all of them have helped make the camping experience more comfortable. The Day Use area is great for just a quick day trip to fish. But if you really want to experience full relaxation, you have to actually camp here!

Absolutely beautiful experience. Very well maintained by staff, friendly neighbors and all around good vibes. I highly recommend stopping at camp site one at west lake, it's a hike to camp but you're at the highest part making the sound from your area not reach bottom neighbors (though they're sound may be amplified 🤭) friendly reminder to keep your areas clean and the common areas. Pay it forward if you have extra wood for the next campers!

Great little lake with clean restroom and good fishing. Kids caught 5 rainbows with lures from canoe while others hung out on the sandy shore.

West lake has a parking lot where you pay 6$ for the day for one car. It has a nice trail around it and lots of trout to fish for. 🐟
