Customer Reviews
Did not camp, was there for mountain biking practice. Wide road in with space for parking cars and trucks with bike racks on the back. Good space for on the side of the road as well if the lot is full. . Trails were well marked and maintained.
Free designated dispersed Campsite area and trails. Nothing spectacular but it is a nice clean peaceful place. Some of the campsites are hard to get to. Large potholes in the road. Arrived on a Friday and all the campsites I could get to in my 16ft van were taken. Parked at the trailhead and hoped a spot would open up the next day ... one did not. The individual campsites I could get to look nice. Wish there were more of them that didn't need 4x4 to find.
The roads inside this Campground are in very bad disrepair. There are holes big enough to swallow a small car and there is nowhere within 15 miles to dispose of trash.
Awsome place free 14day free camping! You can watch the leaves change, you can ride bicycles, dirtbikes, quads, walk the dog has it all! And fire rings PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF!!!! LEAVE IT BETTER THAN YOU LEFT IT!
Beautiful area to ride! The trails though can be a bit too lumpy and chunky, even for a technical mtb rider. Other than that, loved riding from pine to aspen and back through pine again!
