Excellent place to hop on your high powered off road toy and let it rip. It can get crowded but the authorities make sure everyone stays in check but they don’t mess with you unless your acting like a fool. Good times, will be back.
The campground operators were friendly and helpful when we stayed on the beach June of 2022. Can't beat beach camping for 5 dollars a night! Can't speak to the rest of the campground didn't use it but it did seem well taken care of driving through.
Didn't camp here. Came to visit some buddies who camped there. Great time flying ppg but not sure I would park the RV. Was told it gets rowdy at nite. Just a big concrete pad to park your rig but it's right next to the dunes. If I were in my 20s I'd love camping here : )
It was a very busy weekend. I had planned on camping on the sand but just by luck got a spot that just opened up. We had a good time and everyone was friendly that we interacted with. All in all no complaints.
