$8 to get in. It’s a beautiful lake. You can go in up to your knees for a while. There is a lifeguard. The landscape is beautiful and there’s a great breeze. There’s plenty of grass to run around and make picnics. They have some barbecues, bring your own charcoal. Bring your pets because they’ll love it. There’s also a cute playground for children. There are restrooms.

Wescott Beach State Park is great! So great we wish it was closer to home! The views are fantastic of the lake. There is even a telescope to look out at some of the thousand islands nearby. This park has several amenities and a lot of charm to it. The spring trees were blossoming during our visit. It appears there is a camping area in addition to the park and beach areas. The playground seems newly renovated with a lot of fun features for kids. Loved that it had rubber instead of gravel or wood chips. The beaches here are sandy, not rocky, and the water looks shallow and crystal clear. Lots of shady trees and amenities to enjoy, including a boat/kayak launch area. Will definitely return again in the summer when it's open for swimming!

Wonderful beach with crystal clear, 75° water when we were there last week. Had to buy the $8 day pass for the park, but well worth the price for the girls to get to say they've now been in all 5 great lakes! Restroom facilities were well kept also. Space for events / cookouts and plenty of picnic tables throughout the area. If we lived closer we would definitely frequent the beach here.

First time visiting Wescott Beach State Park and only stayed for the weekend. I really loved the park, workers are very friendly and are constantly cleaning the area including bathrooms/washrooms which is a huge plus. We enjoyed the "beach" thats in the campground area, it's very shallow with no lifeguards. So I don't think it's a actual designated Beach area but it's a very nice area, people had floaties, water toys, & dogs in the water overall a great atmosphere. We did checkout the real beach and that looked very nice as well and plenty of lifeguards but didn't actually swim in it as my youngest really loved the other "beach" and ask if we could just go to that one instead. Our campsite was huge plenty of space. Now for the cons, check in took very long as only one person was working and she had to constantly stop to check vehicles pulling in for tags or take fee for daily entrance. She was very nice and did apologize everytime but it definitely wasn't ideal. The other issue we had as it had rained the night before as well as when we stayed and our site with many others were muddy messes and flooded, I would think they would have some sort of drainage solution for this to run the water off the sites but they don't and most campers we spoke to said it's a regular issue here. Which is a shame because we would have loved to explore more but everything was just a muddy watery mess. The dumpsters aren't conveniently located either, they are just in one area by boat launch. Over all its a beautiful campground, if your a tent camper be careful as water just pools on the sites. I don't think I would book this campground ahead of time again, I think I would wait to try and book during non rain weather to avoid the flooding, but would come back in non rainy weather.

We LOVED our weekend here! The cabins are beautiful and perfect for a cozy, relaxing getaway. The park is clean and well maintained. Our only regret is how fast the time went by!
