We had yet ANOTHER incredible experience at Western Woods Campground! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is special. The owners are simply amazing—so friendly and accommodating, they truly go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcome and cared for. The campground itself is impeccably clean, with well-kept facilities that enhance the overall experience. One of our favorite features was the pool; it’s a fantastic spot to relax and cool off after a day of exploring. We are so happy to have chosen Western Woods for our camping getaway, and we can’t wait to return- as we definitely will! I Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch camping experience!
Family owned campground with wonderful owners and staff. Everyone is so friendly and willing to lend a helping hand or helpful advice. I have only come across very nice, friendly and welcoming campers as well. The campground is very well maintained. I didn’t think it would be possible to find a clean bathroom and showers at a campground until we found western woods. It’s so clean and refreshing. The campground is quiet and relaxing. It is not chaotic at all like most campgrounds tend to be. Everyone is respectful of the quiet hours which I appreciate so much. This campground is very well taken care of and I’m so grateful that we found it.
Wonderful campground. Camp store is decently priced. Sites aren’t too close together. Not much shade, but that wasn’t an issue. I don’t think anyone in the park has full hookups. That kind of sucks but they come out and suck out your tanks for a price. No issues with the electric or water. The pool is nice. Nice bathrooms and the laundry is nice & cheap. Gated in community. Lots to do in the area. We’d stay here again.
We stayed for 5 nights and held a family event here as well. We decided on our 2nd day to become seasonal campers! The staff is beyond amazing. The campground is well maintained and clean. The sites are huge. Close to the dells, but far enough away at the same time giving it a nice, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Very family friendly. Would recommend 100%!
Very close drive to everything. newer family owners doing an amazing job. Everything was cleaned and well maintained. Staff were very friendly. I hope they continue to grow and do amazing things with this campground. Walking path to the pool and bathhouse would be a nice future addition.
