Nice open camp grounds, not packed in! Short ride to the trails and dunes! Great views from the campground.
This is where we camp every time we come to Sand Hollow. You have a favorite spot number but the husband says that's a janssen family secret. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are warm. Lots of wild light that comes and visits our campsite. Easy access to the lake and the trails for the ATVs. It's a yearly activity for us.
Such a beautiful place to stay. We have stayed here multiple times and our experience was always great. You have 360 views of the lake and mountains from the campground. The staff are all very nice and accommodating to your individual camping needs. We love camping here since you get access to the lake and ohv areas while you stay. There are plenty of off road trails near the campground. It is a great campground if you want peace and quiet. Each spot is far from the one next to it so there is no need to worry about being to close to your neighbors. The restrooms are spotless and conveniently located around the campground. It is always a great time there and we will be looking forward to staying again.
Except for the guy next to us running his generator all night then lighting up the whole park and blinding everyone with his light bars in his parked vehicle for hours...the park was nice. Full hookups with black drains. Don't know why idiots have to run gennys when you can plug in...
This area is so peaceful. The view is amazing. Very clean and has it's own grill and gazebo and bench. If you want to camp and relax this place is it. If you want to go to the lake its walking distance. You can fish with license of course and if you have your own side by side 4wheeler u can take it up the sand dunes. Or you can rent one by the lake or a boat as well. Amazing place.
