We stayed here a week starting July 9 after a recommendation from some friends. This is a charming RV park. We stayed in a back-in site - #32, which turned out to be perfect. Close to the office, the trash, and the exit, the site was clean, quiet, and spacious. Reasonable weekly rates come out to about $50 a night. The park sponsors lots of events (see photo of calendar) and has some fun activities on site as well such as a putting range and a small basketball court. We attended one happy hour and loved that the cash price was significantly lower than the credit card price. The laundry room was as clean as I’ve ever seen with no broken machines and a working quarter machine! Believe me when I say that’s not the norm. The park is close to the city of Cortez even though it has a Dolores address. It is also an easy drive to Mesa Verde National Park. The true measure of a review is whether or not we would come again and the answer is a resounding YES! P. S. One issue that isn’t in the owner’s control is that they don’t recycle. ☹️

This was a great stop for us, but for the natural gas was out until an hour before we left. That isn’t their fault, but it seemed like they should have offered a small refund to the $72ish fee. I was unable to use the laundry, the building was freezing cold even when we were able to use the showers just before leaving. I also never received a receipt via email for the stay. The bathrooms are very nice. Private shower with door lock. Plenty of hooks and space to set your things. After 4/15 they said the place really opens up. It looks like then they have a good thing going there. It would be a great summer stay. Super clean, inviting, 2 nice dog parks and there is some kind of salon/spa. Second stay 9/2024: This stay was so much more comfortable than our first one. The park was full and it was a peaceful evening. The spots are level and we liked having so much grass around us for the dogs. It doesn’t seem that just 2 bath/shower combos are enough to accommodate a full house, but apparently it does. The showers feel like you’re in someone’s home, not a campground. They’re 5 star!

I've been a full-timer in a Class A coach for over 30 years. Obviously, have stayed in hundreds of RV resorts all around the country. A few were excellent, most average & too many not good. Westview is as good as it can be! Best place I've ever stayed except for extremely high end, Motorhome Resorts, which is super expensive. Rates here are a great value! Watch their video & read other reviews. You'll get the picture quickly. Very large mostly pull-through sites 75' long & farther apart than most other rv parks for sure. Lots of common areas with grass & landscaping. More green area than anyplace I've been before. The owner, Kathy, is the receptionist 5 days a week. Very pleasant, helpful & accommodating; great personality. She takes pride in the resort as one would expect an owner to do. She'll be the person answering when you call & responding to emails. This is my first summer here. Like it so much I'm staying for 6 months & just made my reservations today for 1 May to 1 November, 2025. Less than 400 miles from Phoenix where I spend the winters. 6300' elevation. Twice a day commuter flights non-stop to Phoenix & Denver. Fare as low as $119 to PHX. Very convenient. Nice small airport with free parking 15 minutes from resort. Everything I need in Cortez & Dolores. Then there's always Amazon. Shipping takes a few days via UPS & USPS. Best WiFi I've ever experienced in a RV park! You won't need any other Internet source even for streaming! You won't regret staying here. I have absolutely no connection with the owners. Writing this detailed review simply to share a great find with you.

Do not skip this place based on price alone. It’s a bit more than others and worth every penny. The place is about 7yrs old and it looks like they just finished it 7wks ago. Quiet, super clean, happy hour, pickle ball, etc. For the ladies out there after a day on the road what beats happy hour with Chips and Salsa and a Margarita? Yeah….nothing.

We stayed here on 6/16 . We had a pull through site full hookups. The park is easy to get to, check in was quick the staff called and advised they would be closed and gave us our site number and where to get our paperwork. We had site number 5. The site was easy to get in all the hookups worked fine. The park is clean and well maintained. In all we had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again. The prices we thought were quite resonable for the site and area. Thanks WestView RV!
