Customer Reviews
I have been camping here for the last few months. I leave my camper on site and visit the grounds on the weekends. Myself and family love it. There are so many things to keep you occupied from fishing, swimming hole, horseback riding trails and even riding lessons. I did a lot of research trying to find the right spot. I am so glad we found this one. Peggy and her staff are amazing, professional and friendly. I highly recommend taking your family here.
Ronnie Brinson and his family are the kindest most down to earth people I've ever met. Their campground is the quietest most peaceful campground despite what one may have heard. You don't hear music blasting, you don't hear a bunch of noise especially at night. You get to relax and listen to nature and the geese and ducks. There are ponds for fishing if you live in the camp ground. He is well priced. If you need help he is one of the fastest landlord types I've ever delt with. They are straight to the point. If you don't cause problems there won't be any.. I highly recommend this campground for your outdoor experience.
My dog and I have been here a few months now and I've found everyone, including the campers, the staff, and the owners to be absolutely delightful! It is such a peaceful place set in a beautiful environment. From the immeasurable "skyscape," sunset views, beautiful trails, the horses, and if you don't mind hiking a bit, the cows and even a donkey with a delightful personality, one can truly connect with nature here. A true Carolina gem!
Great place to enjoy the country in a convenient location just outside Jacksonville. You can fish in the many lakes have a picnic or camp on the site. With bathhouses and swimming lakes your sure to have fun. You can even rent horse for a nice leisure ride through the 600 acres of woods and farm land.
Beautiful horses that you can rent and riding lessons. Lakes to fish from and trails to ride horses and hike on. Very affordable living and down to earth people.
