This campground is small, some spots are reserve only but there are first come/first serve spaces as well. We stayed in space 7 and it was perfect for one large tent and two medium tents. It has an easy path that leads directly down to the river. At the rivers edge we discovered 1 spot that was a combination of sand and rocks and 2 sandy beaches to place our towels on. We LOVED it here!! Great camp host, Sergio, that took awesome care of the bathrooms everyday!
After being disappointed by not getting to Horseshoe Lake to camp, and a very rude, unhelpful camp host at the next campground (Cove Creek), we wound up here. Ray and (I think) Barbara, the camp hosts were very helpful and friendly. We stayed at spot # 4, which was an amazing area. This will definitely be a goto place for us in the future! Always nice when the unexpected turns out to be a great adventure!
Just beautiful!clean friendly and secluded campground with all but 1 site right on the Santiam river...clean bathrooms, potable water throughout, wood for sale!great fishing...im going again!!!
Great hidden little campground with four "first come first serve" sights, that are against the river. A lovely little waterfall across the river adds to the quaintness of the campground.
Loved listening to the rushing river so peaceful. Large sites pretty private. No hook ups its dry camping
