Just spent a week there with friends. It is very pretty and the little stream that runs thru the property is very peaceful. Owner, Frank, was very knowledgeable and nd and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Very relaxing and beautiful setting. If you like the large open paved parking lot campgrounds you will hate Whispering Pines, but if you want a beautiful creek with a calm setting and good host you will like this place.
So serene, beautiful. Owner is so helpful. On Creek that is outstandingly gorgeous. He has a couple who assist in so many ways. One of the top 5 campgrounds I have ever stayed at. I have camped for 40 years. Highly recommend this lovely campground.
Absolutely amazing and perfect. My husband and I stayed in the rustic cabin for a Saturday night as a weekend/anniversary getaway. Frank was very accommodating and helpful from booking to checkout. We will be regulars for life. Was just what we needed.
My husband and I went here for a last minute camping trip. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We forgot our air mattress pump, so Scott helped us out and everyone was so kind. We camped next to a serene little creek, very private. It was a nice quiet getaway, perfect place to stay if you are looking to go enjoy the hiking in the mountains. Bath houses were a little dated, but clean and close by.
