Whispering Pines RV Resort

We stayed here 2 weekends in a row. It’s a true gem. Loved the pool, entertainment and the beauty of the campground. We stayed on the creek which was well shaded. We look forward to staying next year. There have been so many great improvements with the new owners.

On this road trip we stumbled across this campsite looking for a place to stay and within two minutes of being here I knew I wanted to come back another day. The owner/Operators of the campsite are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. She recommended a campsite that was very nice and would work perfect for my set up. (My set up is a pop-up truck) And she is very, very cheerful and fun to be around. Itself is amazing. They have a little mini golf Golf course a heated swimming pool a little playground nice areas to walk around most campsites have some trees and are secluded from other sites All in all an amazing stay And I would definitely recommend if you are in the area or looking for a place to go come here.

My son and I had the pleasure of tent camping at the beginning of August. The owners Coni & Carlos along with their daughter Siliena and dog Roxy were so welcoming and friendly. They work so hard at up-keeping the grounds and keeping things clean. We were pleasantly surprised they have a number of games you can sign out and a small selection of ice cream and treats for the kids. The pool was perfect to cool us down after a hot day at the beach and mini golfing was a hit. Thank you for your incredible hospitality and happy vibes!! Whispering Pines……. WOW!! I drove by this absolute Gem on my way home from Sicamous a couple weekends ago and decided to drop in for a quick viewing. The two things that immediately popped out at me were how incredibly immaculate the entire campsite was and that there was a beautiful pool perfectly situated right in the middle of the site as you drive in. Being that it has been a many years since I have camped and I now have to children of my own I figured this was the perfect campsite to select for my kids to have their FIRST camping experience ever. Well………did I choose the right place!! First off I want to extend my thanks and great appreciation to the couple running Whispering Pines, they are absolutely amazing and accommodating people. I am terrible with names but I know the gentleman’s name was Carlos and I’m pretty sure the Ladies name was Carla. Great people! Carlos was out at 10:00am sharp to open the pool Saturday morning for my super excited kids to go swimming and Carla even brought us all out the most delicious fruit freezies later in the afternoon when we were again swimming. The campground and sites were all in beautiful condition including the bathroom and shower facilities which were way above my expectations. The pool speaks for itself boasting itself clean heated and proud in the middle of the common grounds. The little creek that runs alongside the campsite was more river-like this weekend due to the amount of rain we have seen as of late leaving it quite a spectacle for the kids to look at. There is a barbed wire fence up for about half the creek that the neighbour has installed, but the top 4-5 site still have access. The playground was also a great attraction for the kids with the coolest walnut tree next to it for the kids to climb on and made for a great place to make some friends. Whispering pines has everything you could ever desire in a family camping destination and has really made my kids first camping trip very memorable. We will 100% be returning this year and for many years to come!! Whispering Pines you have set the bar high!!

We discovered this gem campground in Mara last year. We had good time so we decided to come again. And boy, I am so glad we did! The campground is situated in perfect place near Mara Lake Prov Park Beach with great sandy beach which is only about 3 min away. The campground, runs now under new management and owners and the change is noticeable immediately. From the time you enter the office to register you are welcomed with smile, warmth, helpful attitude and positivity. Managers Coni and Carlos are the most hardworking people I’ve met. Whether it was 8am or midnight, they were outside helping campers and navigated trailers to their spots. They worked around literally 24-7 to keep everything clean, organized and in tip top shape. And the apple does not fall far from the tree. Their daughter Celina was one of the hardest working people we have ever met and could put many men in a shame when it comes to work ethic. Coni and Carlos make sure the campground offers fun and activities for everyone. From rock painting for kids to various free games like minigolf, ping pong, core hole to Friday music night, weekend freezies in hot weather to Sunday liquor tasting for adults. The campground itself is spacious with lots of shaded sites, majestic cedar trees, large green spaces with community firepits, nice playground with cool climbing walnut tree and little creek that runs alongside the campsite and is accessible directly from 3 or 4 campsites. The office also serves as a Clubhouse - a place to gather in comfy chairs to chat, work, play games, read book or just hang out. Washrooms are nice and immaculately clean. There is also laundry room with cheapest price for load I have seen I long time. The biggest attraction of this campground in outdoor heated pool located in the middle of the campground. Again, since last year there was a huge progress made in improving it. The pool bottom has been smoothened, water is beautifully clean and perfectly balanced and maintained. I absolutely loved spending my days here and I want to thank and appreciate Coni and Carlos to allowing us be become their friends and for making Whispering Pines place people want to return to.
