We chose this campground because we can double back to Banff easily and with fantastic scenery. Staying for 3 nights. We chose the busiest spot, the closest to the service station and main entrance. Friendly and easy check in. Small convenience store inside. Lovely. Doggo friendly. Keep your furry companion on a leash and pick up after them. Easy peasy. 24 hour laundry room. Nice and clean. Very handy. Dish washing station. Garbage can beside the sink for getting rid of scraps. Love this feature. Washrooms and showers are super clean. At night, when in the trailer, the traffic noise isn’t noticeable. Even sitting at the campfire it wasn’t that loud. The views from the campground are amazing. Surrounded by beautiful trees and mountains. Highly recommend.

Great location (close to Yoho and Golden town) but there is no walking trail anywhere so you need to drive to get out of the campsite. Gorgeous views! Facilities were just OK. Interactions with owners were OK too (the man was very kind, opened the office for me earlier than opening hours to give me change for laundry and he was nice to chat to). Some people left food out of the table on their tent site and left so squirrels had a great dining experience.

If you’re looking for a parking lot next to a highway with 24/7 road noise (added bonus of jake braking semis) then this is the place for you. Gravel roads and sites. Most are not level. Sites are small. I had site 46 and I had a slide out hanging into my site. Unfriendly staff. On a positive note, bathrooms are clean.

Very nice campground whit a fair space to park my trailer. They have store, washrooms and laundry. A very nice lady who work here drove her golf cart to show our spot. It’s near for highway but we can’t hear the noise. We start Nanaimo BC and we’re going to NF so was cool to park and rest in here and visit the kicking Horse walking bridge (about fell minutes from here)

Perfect spot for hookups (water and power) and a convenient place to stay for the night travelling through Golden. Free wifi available too. Easy access off highway and surprisingly didn't hear any highway noise from inside our trailer even with the windows open! Not our cup of tea for a long stay but perfect for a short stopover.
