White Memorial Family Campground provides a set of core services and facilities that cater to a traditional camping experience. While it maintains a focus on natural immersion, key amenities are available to ensure a comfortable stay. It's important to note that the approach here leans towards simplicity, emphasizing the natural surroundings. Here’s a general overview of the services you can expect:
- Campsites: The campground offers numerous sites, including standard RV/tent sites at Point Folly Campground (located on a peninsula in Bantam Lake) and Windmill Hill Family Campground (sheltered by woods). These sites typically include a picnic table and a fire ring. Some sites at Point Folly are considered primitive with no hookups for RVs, emphasizing a rustic experience.
- Drinking Water: Potable drinking water is available at designated spigots throughout the campground.
- Restroom Facilities: Pit toilets are generally provided across the campgrounds. While functional, it's worth noting that past feedback from some visitors indicates they are basic.
- Dumping Station: A dumping station is available for RV campers for waste disposal, though individual site hookups for water or sanitary facilities are not provided.
- Campground Store: A campground store is operated near the entrance to Point Folly (at 123 North Shore Road, Bantam, CT), offering essentials and local firewood.
- Boat Launch: Public boat launching facilities are available at the White Memorial Marina for a reduced charge for campers. Campers at Point Folly may also moor boats near their campsites.

Customer Reviews
Place is awesome, so much access to water..so many great sites ...only complaint is the washroom facilities which are terrible..I've been to India and Africa..and this says something. Porta Potties would be a good touch.
I think it's great if you want to be around other people as you can see everybody. The lake is also beautiful and a great View. That is the best part of it. If you're looking for complete quiet at times it gets very quiet but it can also be a little loud. If you have your own boat or canoe it is a great cuz it's easy to put in the water. It has fresh water for you to drink it also has a bathroom but it's just a toilet
Beautiful quiet short walk with a beautiful view.. Seasonal.
Amazing place owners are very friendly and accomodating set up like a peninsula outside edge sites have a private beach fire pits best I've been to highly recommended
It's a nice standard campground. Be aware that you have to mail in to make reservations or go in person. Also I don't believe there is any showers, only restrooms. Lots of memories made here around the fire pit roasting hot dogs. Plus the campground is near some really good eats!
