let’s just start off with how illegal it is to not allow my service dog just because she’s a “banned breed” they’ve chosen. i was going to go camping here for a week but they ban certain dog breeds and that’s disgusting. my dog has been attacked (a boxer / bulldog mix) by multiple different smaller dogs before that arent listed as a “banned breed”. that’s disgusting. it’s THE OWNER NOT THE DOG you should be banning. i work at a vets office and KNOW your expectations of these breeds is disgusting and not even accurate to their true temperament. nasty people. obviously we are neutering / spaying & banning the wrong species when it should be humans. ps, you’ll allow the most dangerous if not trained correctly…. a german shepherd & belgian malimois, german short haired pointer, corgi (one of the most aggressive), dachshund (literally labeled scientifically as one of the most aggressive dog breeds) but will not allow the sweetest breeds of all. it’s like racism but for dogs! GOOD JOB! an addition, thank GOD i did not try to camp here after seeing that & chose to read the reviews. the way the owner replies back to people is also disgusting. petty & lacking any emotional maturity at all. i’m SHOCKED you own a camp site. must be “daddy & mommy’s money” NOT TRUE OUTDOORS PEOPLE. edit — i love how the owner replied and it barely addresses the issue i was upset at in the first place. MY SERVICE DOG IS NOT SAFE AT YOUR FACILITY. you judge her based on her breed. yet she’s capable of saving my life. it’s the same as racism in humans that you are doing to dogs. just because it looks one way on the outside, they are judged. it’s not the legitimacy of my service dog’s legality in question that i am truly upset about. you could not legally kick her out of your camp site if you tried. she is a PTSD psychiatric dog. and yeah. i chose somewhere else that also doesn’t charge out the ass like you do.
42’ motorhome. It’s doable but tight. The sewer hookups were broken and at risk of failure. The breaker was 30 amp and very sensitive as it trip at least 4 times over a week. Bathroom was clean and shower was hot. Good location for touring around. Campground lacks management.
The campground is very nice. We've stayed here before over the past 2 years. The staff is very nice. Grounds people and security are very nice and helpful when you need them and flexible with some rules to help your stay be comfortable. The pool is big but we were told by the campers next to us that it is not heated. Our biggest concern is that they changed the check in and check out from 12 noon check out and 3 pm check in to 10am checkout and 1 pm check in. and the quiet time is now 9 pm! 10 am checkout is just too early. we are a couple with no little kids or grandkids. we work very hard and when we get to take a break the last thing we want to do is have to get up and out quickly. it is interesting that we are told that the site had to be ready for the next campers when it was not ready for us when we arrived. the staff did flex since we did not realize the rules changed and they let us take more time to gather our things as long as we unhooked the electric and water. We really like the campground but we are not sure that 10 am out and 9 pm curfew fits our lifestyle
I absolutely loved this place! The front desk was super helpful, the events for Halloween was amazing, the general feel of the atmosphere was incredible. Worth every penny (which isn’t much!!) super clean facility and the bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a campground.
Can’t say enough about the staff at this campground. Each one was honestly friendlier than the last . The campground store was fantastic and had everything and more that you would need. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and newer with plenty of hot water. The location was fantastic as well being only about a 10-15 min drive from almost every major attraction in the area . The pool was slightly cold but refreshing (we are early in the season for this area) The nature trail was nice for a little family hike. We saw a turtle, frogs, caterpillars , a gopher snake, and all the cute painted rocks. Definitely will be back!
