Customer Reviews
The site was well maintained, the facilities were clean, and it was a beautiful location. The sites were really close together at the wasn't a lot of privacy and the sound really carried. The first night we could hear dogs barking all night, and the second night one of the camp attendants having an argument with a guest was not following the fire rules at 12:30am. The second was justified but I think if the sites were a bit further apart it wouldn't have been an issue. Otherwise we had a great stay and I would stay there again.
We love this place, the staff is very friendly. We love how each campsite has its own power and water tap but it does lose a star for how the showers are! Please fix it
This campground is a MUST STAY when going to Sauble Beach!! 😁 This was thee best campsite we have ever stayed at! It was so beautiful and peaceful, with different areas to choose from like social camping in a grassy area or rough camping in the forest. We chose rough camping and we're given the best campsite that was actually for a group but given to us for the same price as a regular one. We had so much peace and quiet and isolation in our spot. The owner was such a lovely lady with a friendly dog as well. They keep really beautiful care of this park and they're guests. The bathrooms were spotless every second of the day it was always freshly cleaned. The showers were warm and tokens only 1$. We are water fanatics and they had really delicious drinking water. We stayed 3 days and two nights and she gave us a leisurely checkout time for whenever we wanted on the day we were leaving. Our 1st night we had 3 racoons. We also had a visit from a bear in the middle of the morning around 5 am on the second night which was definitely excitement for rough camping. Throwing peanuts to squirrels on our first day was maybe a mistake ? 😂 Either way it was fun and if you stay here and don't want rough camping or bears don't throw peanuts. We packed up all food including granolas in the tent and our coolers and everything packed into the trunk. We brought a couple bangers so I got up that morning and scared the bear away with some fire crackers. They don't bother you much they just only come if you leave food. Our dog was on the loose one day when we thought we could put him in the tent and go shower for the beach, she came to let us know and said we can call Tyson inside while we shower so we don't have to worry. It was such a a lovely stay. We plan on coming to White sands again next year. We can't wait and wish we were able to stay for longer. Thank you for the wonderful stay and the kindness! We HIGHLY recommend!! Here's some pictures :)
Amazing staff, friendly and helpful. Great camping lots, many to choose from including family and party camping. We've done partying camping 2 years in a row now and have had a blast each time. Good, clean facilities for the most part, when busy may take an extra couple hours to get cleaned up but mostly clean and replenished. Convenient store on site, has most of what you need including ice, wood, smokes. Tokens are needed for showering and give you 4 minutes each and are a dollar per token, but can return unused ones at end of trip for refund. Amazing place to stay over the summer, I highly recommend it, especially if your looking for a fun filled time and beach filled days! ;)
My boyfriend and i went camping here in July for my birthday! Amazing service!! Awesome little convenience store on site. Super clean washrooms and showers! AND, They would come save you from a bear if you needed it! :P
