Great place to visit for nature lavers. The sound of the rapids is incredible. The only thing to watch out for is mosquitoes. Remember to bring your repellent. Otherwise a must go place
The place is a heaven for kayaking, the Dam has gone through some renovations and the place is looking pretty good, it's clean, it has bathrooms and pic nic tables, parking is free however it's very small, one can hike along the Rapids and enjoy the water and sometimes kayakers racing.
Locate a short drive just North of Minden. Great trail for a stroll, dog walking, mobility impaired individuals may need to assess conditions. Natural scenic beauty all seasons.
Great, beautiful place. We are lucky that people had the passion and the for site to create this place. Some repairs and upgrades our needed and whitewater ontario is currently raising funds to perform them. They do have a nice new plaque from the federal government for being a site for the pan am games.
