Widow White Creek has got to be the best RV park in the world friendly people lovely spots close to town nothing to complain about here just love this place and the people who run it
The park is beautiful the manager shows favoritism he will let one do one thing while punishing the other for the same he'll punish all tenants for one person's misbehavior the rent is high and there is no showers
The owner/manager is VERY nice and accommodating. We felt comfortable. Spacious tent spots with option of car-camping. The location is an excellent base "camp" to go further up north or into Arcata. The shower is large. The toilets could be unclogged more often - my only complaint. Only one toilet available at a time. Although most are RVers, so they have their own access. Also, people can have dogs, which is great, but they should pick up their poop. Just sayin'. But, I would definitely go back to Widow White because it's quiet, centrally located with really nice staff.
Beautiful campground, hot showers and restrooms.Mike and Terry are amazing and kind, so are the surrounding neighbors. Never been to such a friendly campground before and can't wait to go back. Also, you're in walking distance of DG and the gas station, pizza places too. š¤
I definitely got the: your kind is not welcome here vibe right from first pulling in to inquire about availability. I was advised on a weekday afternoon by the manager that they did not welcome people pulling trailers or folks that are coming and going when I explained that I would be emptying storage right down the street and putting in my cargo trailer so that my RV would be pulling trailer and I would be coming and going daily. I advised her that I didn't even need connections because my rig is completely self sufficient. She said there would be nothing for me since the tent area was closed. I told her I would gladly pay for the space of a connection site and I can plug in if that makes them happier. She then said she didn't want to charge me for what I don't need. She also stated I would be too long at 35' with trailer. She ultimately said that she will talk with the owners and to check back tomorrow. The next day I called and a gentleman picked up and I explained I spoke with the manager yesterday. He immediately said that they can't help me and provided no reasoning why. I asked if he knew anywhere that might be able to and he quickly said no. Fair enough, never in a million years would I beg to patronize people who treat people so poorly, but I was really looking for something close to my storage for convenience. They obviously take to a certain kind, judging from other reviews. I certainly wasn't in any ways impressed with the cleanliness or scenery as I drove around the place. What goes around comes around. It doesn't cost anything to be nice.
