⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an incredible stay at Wild Adventures Safari Campground! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and fun. The RV sites were spacious and well-maintained! The proximity to the Wild Adventures Theme Park was unbeatable—just a short walk, and you’re inside the park spotting exotic animals! 🎢🐅 The kids were thrilled by the safari vibe, and we all loved the peaceful atmosphere of the campground. Michael went above and beyond throughout our stay and Sarah was a Pro during our giraffe encounter. The entire staff made our stay such a great experience! Highly recommended by 4Cs in an RV for families or anyone looking for a unique camping experience. We can’t wait to return! 🏕️✨
We just left Wild Adventures Safari campground and had so much fun. We were one of two campers, so we had plenty of room. It was great to sit outside, eat dinner and watch the animals. The bird sanctuary at the park was an added perk. The birds were so friendly and the kids LOVED feeding them. Everything was super clean and John, who was working the front, was FANTASTIC!! My kids loved visiting him every day. We did the sloth encounter and we were alittle disappointed honestly. It was about 200.00 for a family of four and we got 15 minutes to feed 2 bell peppers to the sloths. The caretakers were great and the sloths were cool, but 15 minutes is a bit pricey. I would recommend increasing the time of the encounter to make it worth the money. But John took us around the park when it was closed and it was really cool riding around the park when it was closed to the public. John was the best! Cons: the sites are jammed in like sardines. I feel like they should have offered half the amount of sites and kept the “safari” feel with bushes and privacy. We were 1 of 3 campers so we had lots of room (no privacy). I’m not sure if we would be back when it is busy. Just lots of sites with not much space. Overall, we had a good time and the experience was cool. Thanks to John for being VIP of the weekend.
Wild Adventures Campgrounds exceeded all of our expectations, especially with their cabins (that sleep 8 people)! The moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Mike and Lala, who truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Mike’s hospitality is unmatched—he’s attentive, friendly, and always ready to provide great recommendations or lend a helping hand like a torch to assist in our smores adventure. The new cabins are so cool—spotlessly clean and equipped with every amenity you could need. They perfectly balance comfort and a rustic charm that makes you feel at home in nature. Waking up in such a cozy setting with a view of the safari animals was nothing short of magical. It’s like having a private wildlife show right from your porch! One of the campground’s unique features is its aviary, a fascinating place to spend time. But the best part is the private entrance to the Wild Adventures Theme Park! Skipping the main gates and walking straight into the fun was a game-changer, giving us more time to enjoy the rides, shows, and attractions. We are excited for the expansion to the campground and for it to get better and better! This is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway. Thank you, Mike, and your amazing team for making our stay unforgettable!
Fun campground to be at. Lovely views of African wildlife, including close ups of zebras, ostrich’s. Plenty of open space. Each location has ground grill/fire out option. Staff was amazing and very friendly. Will be back again
What an amazing experience we shared with our 3-year old grandson this past weekend at the brand new Safari Campground at Wild Adventures in Valdosta, GA. Mike, the manager went out of his way to insure we had the best stay ever! He suggested the close encounter experience of feeding the animals and I never had so much fun getting "kissed" by the giraffe as Savvy taught us so much more about the behind the scenes of the animals' habitats. The camping facility is clean and includes a fishing hole, playground, bird apiary, and trails to see the safari animals. Will definitely make this a frequent stop in our camping travels!
We just stayed 3 nights at wild adventures new safari campground and had an amazing experience! The manger Micheal goes above and beyond to make sure the campground runs smoothly. Him and the rest of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The campsites are extremely nice and the private entrance for the campers into the Wild Adventures park was a plus as well. The fish ponds are well stocked and a nice touch along with the bird aviary. The campground pool was clean and well kept. We are already booked again for May!
We took my 3 year old twins camping for the first time here for 2 nights and it went as well as it possibly could have gone thanks to the staff, particularly Dakota who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They had clean bathrooms, a great grill that came in handy to cook dinner on when we realized we brought the wrong butane tank for our personal stove and they had several events planned that made the Easter weekend perfect. Although this is new, you can tell the staff take pride in their work as it is obvious with how well they maintain the grounds. And being so close to the animals and walking distance to the park was amazing so we will definitely be back and can’t wait to recommend this place to family & friends.
Our stay at wild adventures was the highlight of our trip! The manger Micheal is awesome! He goes above and beyond to make sure the guests are comfortable and have a great experience. He seems to truly care that you enjoy the campground. We came to wild adventures from Disney fort wilderness and our family enjoyed this park more. The rv spots are very clean and spacious. The bathrooms and showers are big and well kept!
Where else can you see wild animals and rollercoasters right outside your RV? The campsite was perfect and the entrance for the campers into the Wild Adventures park was a plus as well. The fish in the ponds were biting and kept our little ones busy. The lots were level and the manager and staff were extremely friendly. We upgraded passes at the theme park so we can get discounts to camp here more often. One cool thing was hearing the lions at the campsite, that's a 1st for sure. We will be back!
We just wrapped up an Easter weekend at the campground, and cannot say enough about this place. We had originally intended on visiting when they opened, but with the delays and storms, we are just making it. We booked our spot with Michael (the Campground Manager) at the Florida RV Show. We ended up with two single day tickets and purchased two diamond season passes, which also provide 20% off camping. From the moment we checked in, we were blown away with the service and “wow” factors. This is a new place, so still growing and still clearly being built. With this, there is not much shade and fairly un level gravel sites (this is why we have blocks and levelers though). Michael actually checked us in after hours(930) and was back in first thing to finish up getting us set. We were able to activate our passes and get our cups at the Safari station, and they even have the coke machines to get refills during your stay. The campground has a private entrance to the back of the park (Dino world area), which allowed us to come and go three times during the day. The campground itself backs right up to the Safari, with zebras, ostriches and giraffes just feet from our site. There is a walking path to go right up near the animals. There is an aviary right next to the Safari station, which is an amazing amenity ($2 for a cup of food) for a campground. In addition to this, they offer tons of activities. We played and won Candy bar bingo and they had a movie night (they even brought out bags popcorn). Despite the park being closed for the Easter holiday, the kids woke up to a campground Easter egg hunt, which was just over the top. This is not a luxury campground, but you would but you’d be surprised with the level of care and service that the team puts into it. At least two of the staff are local teachers. Michael has some Disney blood in him… it shows. We cannot wait to come back again.
