Customer Reviews
What a beautiful place. Our Family Reunion was fantastic. The teepees are set up with great beds, some have a couch, some have a second bed. The surrounding camp site has a fire pit, chairs, kitchen set up and more. The surrounding trees make the sites quiet and beautiful; you don't hear your neighbors. The stream is set up with swimming holes and places for your chair. My husband, pup and I had a super stay. Will definitely go back.
We stayed at Wolf Creek. The tent was so nice and it was convenient that they supplied a charcoal bbq, a propane fire pit, and a picnic area to set up and eat at. The tent is RIGHT next to the creek and was so peaceful. I enjoyed reading my book in the hammock and our nephew really enjoyed the swing. There is enough space between the sites that you can’t hear other campers. I recommend bringing your vehicle up the Sugar Pine way to unload, the stairs were a bit challenging in the heat to bring everything to the site. I also really enjoyed my birthday massage on the creek. Would absolutely go again.
Wild Plumas is the perfect destination for a weekend outside. Now that they have the Shabby Cabin, we are so excited that we can adventure there year round! The sites are clean, private and well kept. The owners and camp hosts provide everything needed for an easy trip.
We love this place. It's the perfect definition of Glamping. We've stayed at another clamping spot and it was super cozy and comfortable but you weren't really camping because there were dozens of tents next to you. Wild Plumas is cozy, comfortable and and you can't see your neighbors. They're on a big lot, near a creek and you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but you're not. some of the amenities are good cell service (if you want that) theres a outdoor shower that's heated by propane. bathroom (port-o-potty) gift shop with shirts and souvenirs. Theres swings and a zipline and a tree house and a Teepee for kids to play in. Things to do in the area- Theres lots of gorgeous rivers to check out and fish in, 4wd roads & trails Check out the historical town of Greenville, most of which was burned down in the Dixie fire Quincy and Lake Almanor. The owners are very nice and hospitable. If you want some more recommendations don't hesitate to ask Josie.
