Wildcat Mound Park is located in Humbird, Wisconsin, a small community nestled in Clark County. The park's address is simply Humbird, WI 54746, USA. This places it in the west-central region of Wisconsin, an area known for its distinctive unglaciated topography, which gives rise to the "mound" formations that are a hallmark of places like Wildcat Mound.

Humbird itself is an unincorporated community, meaning that while it has a post office and a local identity, it may not have the extensive services found in larger towns. However, its location is quite strategic for access. It sits relatively close to major transportation routes, including U.S. Highway 12 and Interstate 94, both of which are key arteries for travel across Wisconsin. This proximity means that while you’re enjoying a rustic natural setting, you're not entirely isolated from essential services. Larger towns like Neillsville (the county seat of Clark County) and Black River Falls are within a reasonable driving distance, offering gas, groceries, and other amenities.

Accessibility to Wildcat Mound Park is generally straightforward via well-maintained county roads once you exit the main highways. The park is often a destination for day trips, and while precise coordinates within Humbird might be helpful for GPS, the community itself is small enough that finding the park's entrance is usually not an issue with standard navigation tools. Due to the nature of the terrain within the park (steep stairs and hilly trails), visitors should be prepared for varying levels of physical exertion once on site. The combination of its distinct geological features and its relatively easy road access makes Wildcat Mound Park an appealing and manageable destination for many Wisconsin residents.

Absolutely gorgeous views, and you don't have to hike far to reach them! Just a quick jaunt up some (admittedly kind of steep) stairs, and you can climb right up to some of the best views I've seen in Wisconsin. Plus if you want a longer hike you can just continue on and hike the whole hilly area. The one downside is it's not very accessible for those who are less capable hikers, as there are some pretty steep parts of trail you have to climb for the best views.

We were told of this great little park by a local. It is a great place to walk and view the valley from the rocks. There is some scrambling up steeper rocks, so it is not for everybody.

Beautiful spot and relatively easy hikes to amazing views. Walking the lower trail in the sand along the cliff faces is also breathtaking. One of my favorite trails in the area.

Loved the scenery and rock formations!! The trails could be better marked and a sign at Hwy 10 wouldn't be amiss. I really wish people understood not to litter, carve the rocks, spray paint or have fires up on the mound. I would appreciate more information on the geology of the area. Maybe a kiosk? The toilets were clean and open. Much appreciated! Didn't see any water source. Not sure about camping. Looks like the ATV trails run right along the base of the park so might be noisy at times but it was very quiet today.
