Customer Reviews
We stayed here during our family reunion. Melissa and her family are the greatest hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed. The camping spots are amazing, so quiet, large and spacious and you can bring your pets! Our only downfall was we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you so very much for accommodating us for being able to arrive a day early. You guys rock! Great price, Great accommodations and just Great people. Thanks again! We will be back!
This place is great! I camped at one of the tent sites for four nights while I did some paddling on the Gauley River and it was perfect. Super peaceful and quiet getaway. Melissa, her dogs and kids were super nice and made me feel at home. Having bathrooms and showers while camping was great and they even provide free firewood!
What they say on their website is true, you come as guest and leave as family! Melissa is simply wonderful, as was everyone else we encountered at the campground. We stopped on our way home from GA with our LQ horse trailer and enjoyed every moment. Melissa thoughtfully placed us in a very convenient site, and our neighbors came out to say hello on our way in. The campground is peaceful and relaxing with incredible hospitality-what more could you ask for!
Easy off and on to Route 19. A nice campground with 50 amp electric, water and sewer. The owner is a great person with a personality to match. Her two twin daughters are adorable and friends for life. We stopped by on our way to Charlotte from the Buffalo area and we again stopped on our way back home. I think we found us a great mid-way stop to Charlotte and back at a very reasonable price.
This has to be the absolute best campground that I have ever been too. It says on there website that you come as a guest and leave feeling like family. And this could be no more true. This is a family owned campground that is very laid back and attracts laid back people. If you are looking for a place thats not filled with Wahoo's then this is the place for you.
The absolute BEST campsite you will ever stay at!!! Melissa and her daughters are the most welcoming, kindest, and amazing hosts. The bathrooms with indoor plumbing and showers were right by the campsites. The park was super cute and my kiddos had a blast! They are kiddo and critter friendly and you couldn't ask for a better place to camp! Big thank you to Melissa and her kids for an AMAZING weekend💝🌻🌈
