Absolutely beautiful place to camp. Huge campsites provide lots of privacy. Awesome river views. Very well ran and maintained. We will definitely be back!
We enjoyed using the Wilderness Canoe and Camp. The owner was warm and welcoming and knowledgeably about the area and history of the river. Communication was clear and his advice was straight forward and exactly as he had explained before we set off. He transported my wife and I to the landing point up river. The route was perfect for a novice like me. We were lucky enough to have the perfect river water level. The gear provided was all in good condition. I would recommend using this company again. In fact if I'm back in the area. I certainly will.
This is a wonderful place to camp if you are willing to camp in a primative setting! They are family run and so easy to work with, great folks. They are pet friendly too. The tubing is great and they make it a wonderful experience. This was our second year back and going to be an annual trip for us.
The 5 day paddle is a really awesome experience! 4 days by canoe, a half day of kayaking. 4 nights semi-primative camping, There's tons of wildlife. The owner is very knowledgeable and will give you all you need to get through this trip. He has answers to any questions you might have. This outfitter also has other, less time consuming experiences to suit your needs. 5 stars out of 5 for each of the 5 days!
This is a great place to take day trip or camp out! You'll get dropped off upstream and then canoe / kayak down a river that runs along the base of a mountain. There are beautiful scenic view and you'll end right at the campsite. I would definitely go back again!
