Best camping for the Gorge. The staff have been there for decades the ownership is breathing new life into an already functioning system. Good people through and through….happy smiles, happy people all around. The place resonates with fun, adventure and freedom to be yourself. It’s a wonderful place!
The Wildhorse campground is an absolute gem. Beautiful green grass and trees surrounding the property with lots of shade. Food. Ice. Coffee. Games. And a insanely convenient shuttle to and from the Gorge Amphitheater. A haven during those hot summer concerts.
Wildhorse delivers once again! These folks are pros on every level - the showers, picnic tables, clean restrooms and solid food are all great, but they’re also kind and they know how to handle the very rare times where fellow campers don’t respect the vibe of the place. There’s no other spot to stay for a Gorge show…..
Superb! The perfect Gorge base camp. Staff was exceptional, services and amenities are perfect. Could we have just a bit more space between neighbors. Sometimes it felt just a bit too neighborly! Wildhorse is our only choice!
I’m gonna regret this if I can’t get a spot next year. Grrr. But honestly, the friendly, gregarious, generous hospitality at Wildhorse is amazing. If you’re headed to the Gorge, there’s no better place to camp. The porta-potties are CLEAN. The breakfast burritos are the perfect hangover food. The Americano is strong and smooth. And the owners and staff are more likely to laugh with you than to enforce some random rule and get mad. If you’re really really lucky, they might share a bourbon with you. (See also: me bourbon-seeking late on a Saturday night.) Thanks folks—amazing weekend. See you soon. Can’t wait to come back. ❤️
