I’d say this is not really a campsite you’d go to as a destination in itself; it’s fine as a stopping point but not much more. Sandwiched between the trans-Canada and a busy rail line, we heard road noise 24/7. However, the bathrooms were clean and the showers were both free and hot. Our kids probably enjoyed the games room at this campsite more than any other thing we did all summer, as the experience of picking a dvd off a shelf and putting into a dvd player was so novel and new to them!
One of the nicest campsites on our three-week trip to Canada. Super good wifi even at the site (enough to stream films), dumping station directly at the pitch, electricity and clean showers. Any time again!
A very nice place to stay with beautiful views of the mountains on both sides of the valley. Local airport traffic goes overhead so you'll likely see planes towing gliders up.
Very family friendly with spectacular mountain views. There's a decent playground and plenty of space for kids to ride their bikes. There's a lot of mature trees providing good privacy for some sites and pretty much all of the sites are set back far enough from the highway that you don't even notice it. The wifi was pretty good and the full serve sites come with 36 cable channels. The bathrooms and showers were clean. There's a good sized travel center 2km away on the same road as the campground for gas and snacks.
Stopped here on the road between Banff and Seattle. Made a reservation at 4 pm and pulled in at 9 pm. An envelope with my name and a site map with my site number (not given during reservation confirmation but awarded based on availability but all sites looked good) was on the door of the office. Full hookups were super great and this was literally one turn off the freeway we were taking. Bathrooms were clean, playground was clean, site was clean and had trees to increase privacy. When we checked in, there was no loud anything and everyone seems to have gone to sleep or retired to their trailers. Would stay again.
