My husband and I rented cabin 2 while my brother in law and his wife were in cabin 1. We were very pleasantly surprised by these quaint cabins! They are beautifully made and decorated, with an amazing view of the river. Super clean and comfortable. Trail heads are very close by as well as great restaurants and several gas stations for refuelling. It was an amazing experience! We will definitely be back.
My wife and I have been staying here for 11 years, and plan on many more great stays. Randy & Cindy are fantastic hosts, the cabins are always clean, comfy, and everything works. Relaxing on the porch after a day of riding is always enjoyable. I literally cannot think of a single gripe. Don’t hesitate to stay here, I can’t imagine that you would regret it.
Location, location, location. Wildwood Cabins is conveniently located less than one minute from Rockhouse trail 15 and only five minutes from the town of Gilbert. The town of Man is just ten miles up the road. The Cabins are cozy and extremely clean and are well equipped too. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the river. We had a couple of ducks that trained us to feed them bread every day. The owners are sincerely nice people who live on site but were in no way intrusive. If/when we come back to Gilbert we will definitely stay here again.
We came to Gilbert to attend a family funeral so we needed a place last minute. Randy and Cindy had the cabin clean and warmed up before we arrived. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. The view of the Guyandotte River is nice and the area is peaceful and quiet. The cabin was decorated beautifully. You won't find a better value for what you get in return.
Wild wood cabins, is a great place to stay to ride the rock house trails on the Hatfield McCoy trail system. trail 15 & 17 only few hundred yards down the road. Trails are easy to get around on well maintained. Marked well. Call Randy at willdwood cabins Gilbert WV. Book your next adventure. If you don't have a atv. There's local rental places not far from cabins
