This campground was fine, maybe worth going to if everything else is full, but not exactly thrilling. There’s a pit toilet and no potable water, which is okay if you filter from the small stream nearby or bring water in. The sites are a reasonable distance from each other, but further would be nice, especially considering how isolated the campground is, and the gravel road you take to get there. The road’s also pretty bad in spots, so be careful if you do go.

Huge Ponderosas, peaceful forest. Easy gravel road in. Clean bathroom. The 3 camp sites all have picnic tables and fire pits(pay attention to fire danger levels before you make use of one) and plenty of room for tents or RV. Sites are pretty close to one another, unfortunately.

Dark skies, quiet nights. Stayed mid-week in mid-June and had the place completely to myself. Picnic tables and fire rings in excellent repair. Nice wildflower display, and had mule deer wandering through camp in the morning.

Nice campground off the beaten path. Table, fire ring and vault toilet. Busier than I expected but not like other campgrounds. Four sites spread out far enough to have some breathing room. Peaceful little place in a beautiful forest. No running water be sure to bring plenty. No garbage so pack it in pack it out.

Solo motorcycle trip, wanted a place where I could not hear the highway and not have a lot of people around. It fit the bill. It is dry, pack your own water in with you.
