For what it is, the campground was amazing and perfect for our needs. The vault toilets were some of the cleanest me and my friends have seen - no piles of bugs or spiders everywhere which i was incredibly thankful for. The water stations were great and scattered throughout the site. Our campsite was the perfect size for us. The campground is dog friendly which allowed me to include my best bud. This was his first camping trip and he did great! My only minor complaint was that the campsite was too rocky for us to get our stakes in the ground so when it rained unexpectedly in the night my shoes got soaked because i couldn’t set up the rain flap to protect them.

This was a great space to stay for fall leaf peeping. We stayed in site 16 which was nice, and close to the bathroom & water pump, but the website pictures were misleading as to the size of the site. It wasn't small but we were expecting it to be roomier and farther away from other sites. Sites are not squished together but are not secluded either. Fire pits were well-made with two different sized/height grates for cooking. Bathrooms were clean and not stinky. Unfortunately we stayed during the last weekend of the season and the water pumps randomly stopped working for about 24 hours with no warning, so we had to buy water nearby. I would recommend buying wood from the host or nearby, just not the red mesh bags. The wood in those bags from a nearby store burned incredibly fast and were not worth the cost. No phone service in the campground but the Beaver lake tourist site nearby has service. Overall a good time. Campground is super close to the Kancamagus Highway.

Our campsite was well secluded, with a lot of space for our tent and car. The camp host was very kind and helpful, but it would have been nice to have a map of the area/pamphlets with nearby trails. Dump stations and spigots were well scattered around the campground, though there was no sink and the toilets were vault. A good distance from Lincoln and right next to a river to swim in!

A very nice small WMNF campground. Seems a bit off the beaten path with its location to the west of Lincoln. I visited late August and most everything was fine and as expected. I will say the restrooms could have used to be pumped and were pretty odiferous. The neighboring camp site deciding to pack up camp and tow their camper out at 4am wasn't particularly pleasant either. However, that wasn't necessarily a reflection on the campground itself.

Really enjoyed camping here. Beautiful fall colors in the area (stayed here the last weekend in September). Sites are well spaced out so you don't feel surrounded by neighbors. Our site was recently raked and the fire pit was clear/clean when we arrived. We had one of the closest sites to the road (site 2) but the highway is quiet during the evenings and we were not bothered by road noise. We did see that site 22 (a hike-in site) looked particularly nice as it's set down a slope from the campground road. We would try to reserve that one if available when we come back.
