Customer Reviews
This review is for the restaurant. We've eaten here twice (lunch and dinner). The food here is first rate (kudos to the kitchen). The dinner table service, not so much. It took awhile for the waitress to show up at our table (the place wasn't empty but not super busy either). Food arrived quickly (due I think to the kitchen being well run). After that, we were virtually abandoned. At some point we debated just going to the front to pay the bill and leave. For us, this will be a go to spot for lunch but probably not again for dinner. Some final thoughts: the location (with its view of the water) is good, the food here is very good (as mentioned already), the atmosphere is laid back, which is fine for lunch. Table cloths for dinner wouldn't hurt...
We had the best time at Wildwood. Beds were super comfortable and rooms were very clean. Restaurant was amazing with plenty of options. My husband enjoyed fishing from his kayak and I enjoyed nights by the fire. So grateful that plenty of firewood is provided. We also hiked right across the street from resort and enjoyed going into the cute town of Granville. We will definitely be back and bring the pup.
Wildwood Resort and Marina is our go to getaway, it's 30 minutes from our house so if we need to run home for the animals we can. We are loving the new star gazing opportunities, our second time and so cool the beautiful images of nebulas and other objects that the telescope sees that you can save to your phone ! And if you are worried about the cold, winter star gazing involves a giant fire, warm drinks and access to inside if needed. Interesting conversations with new people and every night a unique experience based on what is visible in the sky. Mat's hot cider was wonderful too!
Me and my wife have been going here since 2020 it’s our favorite getaway! We generally order our food and walk the pier while we wait for it to be brought out. The place usually has a very relaxed feel even when it’s full. The lake views are amazing generally Cordell hull isn’t busy so you have most the lake to yourself. They have a very nice boat ramp if you want to launch or eat dinner on the lake. Haven’t gotten to spend the night there yet but plan too check out the Airstreams! The Bang Bang shrimp and Brussels sprouts are our favorite!
Excellent atmosphere, Excellent customer service, beautiful location and the cabins were just adorable! Loved the fire pit at our cabins and we spent quality time around that fire relaxing and unwinding and it was just amazing. We will for sure come back and can not recommend this place more!
