Customer Reviews
We attended our first scout council event last weekend. The people working the event were amazing and the grounds were very clean. Not a single piece of trash to be found. I appreciated the bathrooms being single stalls. The reading post was cash only, which I did not know before so keep that in mind when traveling there. The only thing I did not enjoy was the dogs on campus leaving poop in the area where they set up tables for eating and games for the kids. Please require pet owners to pick up after their pets.
Decent facilities and generally accessible I attend a lot of events at this reservation and like if.
This is a Scouts BSA campground that can be rented for special events. I have camped here with various groups outside BSA and as a BSA scoutmaster for 30 years. I always love being at this place.
Late 70s, early 80s I spent several summers here as a young Boy Scout. Looking back then it was like a whole new world. You could hike forever and never see the same thing twice. There was hiking, repelling, pioneering, swimming, canoeing, row boats. I even got Tapped-Out for the Order-of-The- Arrow Brotherhood here. A memory I'll never forget. I hope in the new PC WORLD that the anti's don't destroy the real legacy of the Boy Scouts. There's good and bad in everything, just hope that places like The Will Rogers Boy Scout Reservation will endure for generations to come.
Awesome campsite, lot's of amenities.
